Breakdown Of The N81 Billion Spent By NDDC ‘Fainting’ Chairman Between January And May 2020

Nigerians have gone haywire after it was revealed that a huge sum of N81 billion was spent by the chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) without undertaking any beneficial project in the country.

 

Recall Ghgossip.com earlier reported the ‘fainting’ of the NDDC chairman, Prof. Kemebradikumo Pondei when he was questioned on the abuse of the funds allocated for the undertaking of projects by his office.

Below is the breakddown of the money

  1. Covid-19: N31.4 billion
  2. Imprest: N790.9 million
  3. Duty Travel Allowance: N486 million
  4. Consultancy: N83 million
  5. Condolences: N122.9 million
  6. Community Relations: N1.3 billion
  7. Overseas Travel: N85.6 million
  8. Maintenance: N220 million
  9. Legal Services: N900 million
  10. Lassa Fever: N1.956 billion
  11. Security: N744 million
  12. Staffing Related Payment: N8.8 billion
  13. Stakeholders Engagement (Feb 18 – May 31, 2020): N248 million
  14. Projects completed: 0
