Shatta Michy recounts live in Nima with Shatta Wale

Shatta Wale’s baby mama, Shatta Michy, has recounted her early days with him.

She said she never followed Shatta Wale to be famous but because she cared and loved him – Michy said she used to live with Shatta Wale in his small room in Nima, one of Accra’s choked slums – She also spoke on why she broke up with Shatta Wale after many years of being together. Ghana Shatta Wale’s baby mama and long-time girlfriend, Michy, has opened up on their love affair in the early stage. Michy also spoke about why she broke up with Shatta Wale and matters rising after that. She spoke in an interview with  Kumawood actress Emelia Brobbey on her Okukuseku Show. According to Michy, contrary to what people think that she came to follow Shatta Wale in order to be famous, she actually followed him because she cared for him. Michy added that she loved Shatta Wale so much and so a huge potential in him which she wanted to help him develop. At that time, she confirmed Shatta Wale lived in a small room in Nima, where the Dancehall Champion started life. She revealed that Shatta Wale was mostly lonely at that time with no support from anyone, not even the many friends around him today, and that is what attracted him to her. “I was a young girl coming up and when I met him, I said this is someone with a big talent and great vision. It was not about me being famous, no,” Michy explained.

Talking about why she left Shatta Wale, Michy said “I left him to live the best way he wants to”. She denied ever leaving Shatta Wale because of cheating, stressing that even though their arguments turned violent, she never thought of leaving him.
