NACOC, Asante Gold Team Up to Warn Chirano Students on Dangers of Drug Abuse
The National Anti-Drug Abuse Commission (NACOC) and Asante Gold Chirano have partnered to educate students at Chirano Senior High School about the dangers of drug abuse. The programme, held on World Drug Day, brought together hundreds of participants to raise awareness about the negative effects of substance abuse.

During the session, officials from the National Narcotics Control Board emphasized the importance of drug abuse prevention, especially among youths. Mr Adutwum-Gyimah stated that the abuse of drugs and use of illicit substances did not help with right thinking and the youth most often fell for such traps.
