Speaking at the signing ceremony, Ms Darko-Opoku described the agreement as a significant milestone, saying "Today marks a significant milestone as the Ghana Medical Trust Fund, MDS-Lancet Laboratories Ghana Limited and Quest Medical Imaging formally establish a partnership that reflects our shared commitment to improving access to quality healthcare for the people of Ghana." She emphasized the importance of accurate and timely diagnostics in effective treatment, stating "Accurate and timely diagnostics are the cornerstone of effective treatment, and this collaboration represents an important investment in the health and wellbeing of Ghanaians."
