On 7 September, construction crews and delegates will gather in Ada to launch construction on a proposed Medical City, marking an expansion of Ghana's national tourism strategy into health infrastructure and international investment.

The project forms the core of a six-day gathering organized by Africa’s Brain Bank in partnership with the Ghana Tourism Authority.

Scheduled from 3 to 8 September 2026 across Accra and Ada, the event combines high-level business forums, diaspora networking, and historical tours under the theme “Africa’s Greatest Wealth, Its People; Restoring Africa’s Health Capital.”

Official delegates, corporate executives, and healthcare professionals from across the continent and the African Diaspora are expected to attend the 7th Annual Summit, Charity Ball, and Medical City launch.
