"Ei DKB, you know your name erh, when you remove the B and make it M, it becomes DKM and they will chase you for their money." That was the line former President John Dramani Mahama delivered to Ghanaian comedian DKB during a photo opportunity in October 2015.
The former head of state turned comedian on the spot, delivering a quick punchline to a man who had organized a street demonstration against his government just five months earlier.
DKB recounted the hilarious encounter during the September edition of his monthly SoHo Comedy Night in Accra. The performance also doubled as a birthday celebration in his honour.
