Parents standing in long queues across the country to fix their children's secondary school placement issues will see more staff working at resolution centres.
The Computerised School Selection and Placement System sent extra staff to crowded sites following widespread concerns about slow service and long wait times.
Hashmin Mohammed, Media Relations Officer at the Ministry of Education, announced the action on Joy FM’s Newsnight.
He said reports of crowded centres prompted the CSSPS coordinator and ministry officials to step in directly.
“We have been notified of the delays and then the long queues across some of the resolution centres in the country, and accordingly the coordinator for the CSSPS, with the support of some of the ministry officials, have decided to deploy more personnel into the areas that are unable to attend to the complainants with speed of time,”
