President John Dramani Mahama has called on global investors and development partners to build business partnerships with Ghana and take advantage of commercial opportunities across the African continent.

The Ghanaian leader reaffirmed the nation's commitment to positioning itself as a strategic investment destination and a gateway to Africa during a major international gathering in the United States.

The speech was delivered on behalf of the President by Sampson Ahi, the Deputy Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry and Member of Parliament, at the Africa Business Investment Summit 2026.

The summit took place at the MGM National Harbor in Washington, D.C.

It brought together government officials, international investors, development finance institutions, business leaders and private-sector stakeholders from across the globe.
