Hamza Mohammed ended his fight with John Oblitey Commey in the third round by knockout at the Odwira Festival in Akropong, delivering a win that extended his professional record to two victories. The lightweight bout was part of a triple victory for PKO Boxing at the festival in the Eastern Region.
Mohammed’s knockout over Commey came after his first professional win, a first-round knockout against Benya Bee at the PKO Homowo Fight Night. His performance in Akropong confirmed his progress since turning professional.
Joseph “The Humble” Commodore also won at the festival, defeating Sannie Kugbley by technical knockout in the second round of their welterweight fight. This victory was Commodore’s second as a professional boxer.
The third win came from PKO juvenile boxer Rahman Lokko, who completed a clean sweep for the PKO Boxing team at the event. The fights were part of celebrations during this year’s Odwira Festival, a major event in Akropong.
