AK24 Entertainment took home Event Promoter of the Year at the 2026 Ghana Entertainment Awards USA. The ceremony happened on September 26 at the Avenue Event Center in South Hackensack, New Jersey.
The Ohio-based company competed against Blaq Pages, Chale Boys, Ensah Boys, GH Music Promo, and Tee Jay Ent. Its win reflects a busy year promoting Ghanaian music in the United States.
One of AK24 Entertainment’s standout events was the R2Bees Live concert on August 15 at The Bluestone in Columbus, Ohio. Sponsored by LemFi, the show sold out. It was the first time the Ghanaian duo performed at that venue and the first Afrobeats act to appear there.
This is not AK24 Entertainment’s first time winning at the Ghana Entertainment Awards USA. They previously won Best Event Promoter in 2023, the year they organized a sold-out Sarkodie concert at The Forum in Columbus.
Over the years, AK24 Entertainment has booked major Ghanaian acts in Ohio, including Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, and Black Sherif. They also produced the GH@67 live concert, connecting Ghanaian music with the diaspora community.
The company has carved out a steady presence in Ohio’s Ghanaian entertainment scene. Their ability to draw big names and sell tickets has made them a regular name at the awards.
The 2026 award adds to their reputation as a promoter who keeps Ghanaian culture vibrant abroad, especially in the Midwest.
