Tommy Annan-Forson once received an official query from management for laughing out loud on state-owned radio at the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation.
That administrative query forced him to move his humor off the airwaves and onto the live stage instead.
Decades later, that decision remains a defining moment in the history of live stand-up performance in Ghana.
Annan-Forson will now join four generations of Ghanaian comedians on stage for a single comedy event in Accra.
Comedian Lekzy DeComic announced the upcoming project, which is titled Lekzy Unleashed: The Godfather Edition.
The programme will take place on Friday, 7th November 2026, at the UPSA Auditorium in Accra.
