MTN Ghana Slams Momo Loan Defaulters with New Rule

MTN Ghana's Field Service Manager (Network) in Kumasi, Dickson Amoung-Yam, has warned Momo loan defaulters that they will no longer be able to escape repayment by disposing of their SIM cards. The new rule aims to curb the practice of borrowers taking loans and later disposing of their SIM cards to avoid repayment.

MTN Ghana Cracks Down on Loan Defaulters

MTN Ghana is taking steps to prevent borrowers from avoiding repayment by using their Ghana Cards to register new SIM cards. According to Dickson Amoung-Yam, borrowers who take loans and refuse to pay will no longer be able to escape because of the Ghana Card they used to register on their accounts.

Mr Amoung-Yam made this statement in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on the sidelines of a media and stakeholders' engagement organised by MTN Ghana in Sunyani. He expressed concern that some borrowers had been using this tactic to avoid repayment, but the company is now taking steps to prevent this practice.

MTN Ghana Invests in Customer Satisfaction

MTN Ghana is committed to providing excellent customer service, and customer satisfaction drives the company's operations. Dickson Amoung-Yam reiterated that the company is investing heavily to guarantee customer satisfaction of services. He also encouraged customers to report any service problems to the company for the needed attention.

MTN Ghana's efforts to improve customer satisfaction are evident in its expanding network coverage. Even farmers at their farms are now able to make calls and send messages from the forest, according to Mr Amoung-Yam. This is a testament to the company's commitment to providing services to every area in Ghana.

New Apps to Prevent Long Queues

MTN Ghana has introduced several apps that customers can use to prevent long queues at the company's offices. These apps allow customers to access services without having to physically visit the offices. Mr Amoung-Yam encouraged customers to take advantage of these apps to avoid the inconvenience of long queues.

In conclusion, MTN Ghana's new rule aims to prevent borrowers from avoiding repayment by using their Ghana Cards to register new SIM cards. The company is committed to providing excellent customer service and is investing heavily to guarantee customer satisfaction. With its expanding network coverage and new apps to prevent long queues, MTN Ghana is making efforts to improve the customer experience.
