MyJoyOnline inducted into CIMG Hall of Fame after five consecutive award wins

MyJoyOnline.com entered the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG) Hall of Fame after winning the Marketing-Oriented Online News Portal of the Year award five years in a row. The induction happened on Saturday, October 17, 2026, during the 37th CIMG Annual National Marketing Performance Awards at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.

The Hall of Fame trophy, designed and donated by Primus, was presented to MyJoyOnline to mark this milestone. The CIMG Hall of Fame category recognises brands that have maintained their winning streak in their categories for five consecutive years.

MyJoyOnline’s induction followed sustained recognition for its work in digital journalism, public service, and audience engagement. The CIMG citation mentioned the portal’s cross-platform publishing, responsive audience engagement, and coverage of national issues, including its Poisoned for Gold investigation.

The award reflects the increasing importance of digital journalism in Ghana. It signals how platforms like MyJoyOnline bring public-interest issues to wider audiences and sustain national conversations on matters of concern.

MyJoyOnline.com is the digital news platform of the Multimedia Group. It publishes news, analysis, and multimedia content for audiences in Ghana and abroad. The portal’s induction into the CIMG Hall of Fame is a milestone in its relationship with the marketing institute after five straight wins in its category.

This recognition puts MyJoyOnline alongside other brands that have maintained consistent marketing performance. It confirms the platform’s place in Ghana’s media landscape, where digital news outlets compete for public attention and trust.
