NAFCO Boss Honors Late Ya-Na, Vows Continued Support to Dagbon
George Abradu-Otoo, the Chief Executive of the National Food Buffer Stock Company (NAFCO), has led a condolence visit to the Gbewaa Palace in Yendi to pay tribute to the late King of Dagbon, Ya-Na Mahama Abukari II. The visit was part of Abradu-Otoo's two-day working trip to the Northern Region.

During the visit, Abradu-Otoo assured the newly installed Regent, Kpampakuya Naa Yakubu Abukari, that NAFCO would continue to offer support to the Dagbon Kingdom. He stated, "I was overwhelmed by his reception…. He called me his son, that meant a lot to me. I am here today, on behalf of our board, management and staff to let the Regent, know that the same support we offered to our grandfather we would extend the same support to him." The Regent thanked the NAFCO delegation for the visit and expression of solidarity.
