Sylvester Tetteh has warned the ruling New Patriotic Party that public endorsements will not save its leadership when delegates vote in Kumasi.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen on Monday, September 7, the General Secretary hopeful predicted that a major surprise is waiting for party insiders at the upcoming national executive election.
"Endorsements do not guarantee winning an election. What happened during John Boadu’s time will happen again. Something shocking is about to happen in Kumasi," Tetteh said.
The warning hits directly at a common practice in internal party politics, where senior leaders, regional chairmen, and parliamentarians publicly back incumbent officers or favored candidates.
