St. Francis Xavier Junior Seminary SHS has emerged victorious in the Preliminary Stage of the NSMQ 2026, leaving debutants Pentecost SHS in their wake. The contest saw Pentecost SHS start strong, trailing by only four points after the opening round. However, as the competition progressed, St. Francis Xavier's lead widened significantly.

The gap between the two schools grew in the second round, with St. Francis Xavier moving to 28 points, while Pentecost SHS remained on 14 points.
