Samuel Atta Akyea has rejected claims circulating on social media that he abandoned former National Signals Bureau Director-General Kwabena Adu-Boahene during his ongoing trial.
The defense lawyer represents Kwabena Adu-Boahene, his wife Angela Adjei-Boateng, and a fourth accused person in the trial.
Reports spread across online platforms claiming the lawyer had walked away from his clients following a courtroom disagreement over evidence.
Atta Akyea denied those claims in full, stating that he remains lead counsel for all three defendants.
The rumors surfaced during recent court proceedings where the defense team raised issues regarding evidence and trial timelines.
