He said it is inaccurate for persons to suggest that the Presidency gave no justification for dissolving nine Boards of State-Owned Enterprises.
The clarification addresses growing public discussion surrounding recent administrative changes across state institutions.
As Director-General of the authority, Kpessa-Whyte oversees the state body responsible for monitoring performance and governance in public corporations.
His statement came following public claims that the executive branch dissolved the governing bodies without providing underlying reasons.
Kpessa-Whyte stated that official channels communicated the basis for the changes at the time the decisions took effect.
