Corpus Christi School pulled ahead to claim the top spot in the first quarter-final of the 2026 National Investment Quiz, finishing with 45 points at the ISSER Auditorium, University of Ghana. Wesley Girls’ High School followed closely with 42 points, securing the second semi-final place available from the contest.
The round tested the four schools on their knowledge of investment and financial concepts. Teams had to answer quickly and accurately while showing teamwork under pressure. Wesley Grammar School earned 37 points, and Aggrey Memorial A.M.E. Zion SHS ended with 29 points. Both fell short of advancing to the next stage.
Quiz Master Godson Nukunya moderated the contest, guiding the students through the five rounds of questions. The competition marked the quarter-final stage of the annual event organised by the Young Investors Network. The National Investment Quiz aims to boost financial literacy among Senior High School students across Ghana.
With Corpus Christi and Wesley Girls now in the semi-finals, attention turns to the remaining quarter-finals where other schools will compete for the last spots. The event is supported by partners including the Ghana Stock Exchange, the Central Securities Depository, and Joy Business.
