Senior Presidential Advisor and Senior Presidential Aide Joyce Bawah Mogtari said today that improving Ghana’s road network will create sustainable jobs for young people.
She made the comments in a Facebook post published as President John Dramani Mahama formally commemorated the handing over of the right-of-way for the Kumasi Expressway.
“Research suggests that better road infrastructure will certainly create more sustainable jobs for our youth,” Mrs Bawah Mogtari wrote.
The right-of-way ceremony marks a formal step in the construction process for the Kumasi Expressway. Transferring the right-of-way gives road contractors physical and legal control over the cleared land corridor so heavy construction work can begin.
The expressway is designed to improve transit connections between Accra, the Ashanti Region, and other parts of Ghana. Mrs B
