American venture capitalist Joshua Kushner says he regrets joining a scrapped plan to sell stakes in the FIFA World Cup.
Kushner was set to be the lead investor in the proposal alongside FIFA president Gianni Infantino.
The plan, named FIFA Forward Enterprise (FFE), created a crisis inside football's governing body before being abandoned in July.
"Had we known what this would devolve into, we would not have gotten involved," Kushner said in his first public comments on the matter.
