Evans Ganyo has filed his nomination forms at the Suaman NDC party office to run for constituency chairman. He wants candidates and supporters to drop personal attacks and run clean campaigns focused on party plans.
The filing forms part of the National Democratic Congress constituency executive elections taking place across Ghana. The opposition party has opened nominations to elect new leaders across all constituencies as it prepares its local structures.
Speaking at the party office right after submitting his documents, Ganyo described the upcoming vote as an internal party exercise. He said candidates must remember that the main goal is winning back the Suaman parliamentary seat from the New Patriotic Party in 2028.
