A six-member firefighting crew from the Suhum Municipal Fire Station arrived at the scene at 1:31 pm after receiving the distress call. They managed to bring the blaze under control at 1:35 pm before completely extinguishing it at 1:56 pm. No casualties were recorded in the incident.
