Parts of Accra will spend eight hours without power on Sunday, August 30, after the Electricity Company of Ghana scheduled an emergency outage across several major suburbs and commercial districts.
The state power distributor issued an official public notice on Saturday, August 29, confirming that electricity supply will be cut off from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
The temporary interruption covers parts of the Accra East Region, where maintenance teams are working to fix a fault that has affected the distribution network.
